This thesis is an attempt to outline the policies and practices of a leading Canadian industrial company in its relations with its employees. Owing to the nature of the subject the identity of the Company is not revealed. The Company is, however, sufficiently representative to afford a general view of progressive industrial policy in employer-employee relationships, although it is perhaps more "typical" of Canadian industry as a whole by its non-recognition of collective bargaining.
