The Department of Design (Graphic/Information) at Central Connecticut State University, accredited in the Fall 1999, was newly formed at the time of the creation of this thesis. Thus, the Department needed the production of this collection of promotional materials to provide information about the Department: its programs and other offerings to the education community, potential students, potential employers of graduates, and the community at large. The CD-ROM created for this purpose includes: Logo and Support Materials (Identity Promotion Package), two versions of possible web sites, which contain Departmental Information as well as academic requirements, a Brochure, Signage/Poster and a Newsletter. Review and comparison of other academic Department web sites is also included.
