O uso de geotecnologias no ensino de Geografia como recurso didático para a redução e prevenção dos desastres naturais: The use of geotechnologies in Geography teaching as a didactic resource for the reduction and prevention of natural disasters

This research project aims to present possibilities for the introduction and use of information technologies, mainly geotechnologies in the cartographic literacy of high school students, aiming, from the reflection on the use of Geotechnologies as didactic tools in the classroom , to develop and apply a didactic sequence for teaching cartography and geotechnologies in the discipline of Geography, in High School, which includes the use of such technological resources for the reduction and prevention of natural disasters, in addition to the elaboration of an interactive website as a final product . As the main methodological approach of this work, qualitative research was used due to the important contributions and possibilities of investigation, associated with a questionnaire as an instrument for obtaining and analyzing fundamental data for understanding the problem to be investigated, combined with the elaboration and application of a didactic sequence, culminating in a phenomenological analysis of the data obtained in the questionnaires with the purpose of providing opportunities for teachers and students to have new possibilities in relation to the advancement and improvement of the teaching and learning processes in Basic Education. The activities presented through the didactic sequence aimed to encourage the learning of first grade high school students about the use of geotechnologies and school cartography using Google Earth Pro and the development of an interactive website for prevention of natural disasters
