Information architecture model for Intercultural Health monitoring of a Health Insurance Company

For many Indigenous communities, health is understood as the product of the harmonious relationships of the human being with himself, the family, the community and nature, which result from the strict observance of norms of social behavior, as well as respect for the forces of nature and its elements. The data currently stored in a Empresa Promotora de Salud Indígena (EPSI) can be used to investigate the intercultural health of Indigenous peoples, which can lead to more accurate results in relation to their culture, and to take more accurate actions that might impact the health status of the community positively. Thus, the general objective of this thesis was to design an information architecture model that allows the monitoring of intercultural health at a health insurance company that provides health care insurance to an indigenous community. Using the data structure of the EPSI Anas Wayuu, we identified the requirements and related the data around the different components with which lifestyle patterns can be identified, resulting in the Model of Intercultural Health Information Architecture. The results of this study can also be used for future research in health information architecture
