This study aimed to analyze the implementation of the National Policy for Integral Health of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender in the municipality of Santarém-PA. Was applied a questionnaire with the municipal manager of health was applied, individual semi-structured interviews with professionals of the Family Health Strategy in four basic health units, and two workshops with users of SUS members of the LGBT population. The results of the analysis technique was the thematic analysis in the light of the policy. From speeches emerged four themes: 1 - Management mechanisms for health care of the LGBT population; 2 - Role of the LGBT movement in the formulation of health policies; 3 - Health professionals approach to the LGBT population; and 4 - Health care offered to the LGBT population in the municipality. The issues were discussed in the design manager, users and professionals, considering the relevance of each of these actors and their place of speech. The speeches pointed out that the policy has not been implemented effectively, with the need to prioritize equity policies in the municipality. They also pointed out the presence of discrimination and prejudice based on sexual orientation and gender identity in health professional approach to the LGBT population. Finally, they pointed out the invisibility of members of the LGBT population in relation to health care and the need for continuing education initiatives for health professionals, questioning current practices and recognizing the user in full. It reinforces this study the need for practices that promote comprehensive health care, considering the iniquities of the subject with a view to consolidating a model of family care and full health.
